Core Competencies:
The senior System/Network Engineer is responsible for network topology design, ISP selection, and hardware & software specification as part of a cross-functional project team. Additional responsiblities include recommending how the client will support and maintain the site after “go-live”, how to address potential security threats, and the configuration, implementation, and administration of the development and production environment throughout the application development cycle.

Requirements:

2 to 5 Years Solaris 2.x or Windows NT Systems Administration / Engineering (Staff Level)
5+ Years Solaris 2.x or Windows NT Systems Administration / Engineering (Lead Level) . Abilities to write and modify Scripts in Perl, Ksh, Sh, etc. (Solaris Track) or Ability to Manage and Modify Registry Parameters (Windows Track) .

Network Experience:

Network Topology Design Experience,Knowledge of Distributed Computing Concepts, Knowledge of TCP/IP Protocols. Basic Cisco Router and Switch Configuration
Ability to work in small or large groups. Cooperate collaboratively across disciplines.
Additional:
Work interactively with clients
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Certifications such as MCSE, MCSA, CCNA preferred
